Makawanpur: – With the recent second wave of corona infection hit, the rate of infection is also increasing in Bagmati.

According to the Ministry of Social Development, the corona virus infection has also increased rapidly in the federal capital, Bagmati.

The infection in about 16,620 people has been confirmed in the state so far, out of which 5629 are still corona positive.

While testing swab samples of 6,708 people in the state on Thursday, corona infection was confirmed in 1,278 people, said a spokesperson of the Ministry of Social Development, Bagmati. Purushottam Raj Sedhai informed.

According to the data released by the state’s Ministry of Social Development on Thursday, 987 people have been confirmed infected in Kathmandu, 106 in Latilpur and 81 in Bhaktapur.

Similarly, 12 cases have been confirmed in Nuwakot, three in Dhading, 22 in Chitwan, eight in Sindhuli, 30 in Makawanpur, five in Ramechhap, three in Dolakha, 17 in Kavre and four in Sindhupalchowk, but still no any infected has been reported in Rasuwa.

Similarly, 1,055 have died due to the infection of Corona Virus till Now, whereas 2 died on Thursday.

In the state, 263 got recovered from Corona Virus on Thursday and now total recovered cases are 153,836.At present, 29 corona infections are being treated in the State on ventilators while 60 corona infections are being treated in the ICU.

According to the Ministry of Social Development, various hospitals in the state have brought a total of 160 ventilators and 415 ICU beds into operation. Similarly, 422 corona infected people are in institutional isolation and 5,307 are in home isolation.
