Makawanpur: – Some executive members have boycotted the meeting saying that Kailash Rural Municipality chairman Tank Moktan did not conduct the executive meeting on time.

Ward Chairman No. 5 Chheku Lama, Ward Chairman No. 6 Thulokancha Lama, Member Laxmi Moktan, Ward Chairman No. 7 Udas Bholon, Ward Chairman No. 8 Surya Bahadur Thing and Ward Chairman No. 10 Manik Lal Moktan boycotted the meeting.

They said that village chairman Moktan used to convene an executive meeting but do not use to conduct it on time.

The village chairman deliberately conducts the meeting hours later than the scheduled time. When we are called for a meeting and do not conduct it on time, we come from far away, we are always hurry to back. We had to make arrangements for food or accommodation, otherwise we would have a problem”complained the members.

When the meeting starts late, we used to be in a hurry to walk. The agenda presented at the meeting cannot be discussed, Chairman take decision himself. We have said it over and over again to conduct the meeting on time, but he always does late, said members of the committee, they also requested to issue the notice a few days before the meeting date and if he doesn’t held the meeting on time in the coming future then we will boycott the meeting.

Regarding this issue, we had tried to contact the chairperson Moktan for comment but we could not.
