Makawanpur: – Leader of the main opposition party in Bagmati Province, Indra Bahadur Baniya, has said that the current government, which does not understand the problems of businessmen, cannot work for the welfare of people. Baniya expressed his works over current government while addressing the annual general meeting of Old Narayani Transport Company Pvt. Ltd. in Hetauda on Saturday.

He accused of creating problems for transport businessmen by making policy to go to the company. Stating that the policy is wrong, he said that the compulsory situation of registering with a transport business company should be ended soon.

Stating that the government is busy in talking more than work, he said that the policy has been made against the interest of the entrepreneurs and some of them were on the verge of fleeing.

He said that the work of renewal, revenue and route permit of freight vehicles are very cumbersome, adding that the government should immediately revoke the route permit and extend the time period for revenue and renewal and he said that he had closely watched the suffering of the transport businessmen and added that within a month of the Congress-led government, the route permit would be revoked and the time period for revenue and renewal would be increased to five years.
