Makawanpur: – It has been decided to close the movement of vehicle in the project area which under construction under Hetauda-Bhimphedi for two months from Magh-10.
Chief District Officer of Makawanpur, Govinda Prasad Rijal, informed that the government has decided to stop the movement of all vehicles except project vehicles in the project construction area till Chaitra-10 for upgrading the road section which is considered as a project of pride by the Bagmati State Government.
It has been decided to stop the movement of all vehicles except project purposes in the area under construction for the expansion and upgrading of the project under the Directorate of Transport Infrastructure, Bagmati Province, Hetauda.
Chief District Officer Rijal informed that the decision was taken after discussions between various stakeholders (Directorate of Transport Infrastructure), security agencies, construction businessmen and representatives of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ).
A 15-kilometer road from Bhimfedi-Deurali to Kulekhani is being upgraded with the financial investment of the Bagmati State Government. The project is targeted to be completed by mid-July 2078 BS with a total investment of Rs. 35 Crores , Sadev Bahadur Bhandari informed.
According to the District Administration Office, Makawanpur, it has been decided to stop the movement of the vehicle and has decided to use alternative road.
