Makawanpur: – The third district meeting of Madan Bhandari Sports Academy Makawanpur has selected a district committee led by Prakash Subedi. The meeting selected a 75-member district committee led by Subedi and nominated 29 people as members of the secretariat.

Bikram Lamichhane has been elected as the vice president, Suresh Berozgar as the secretary, Anil Adhikari as the joint secretary and Manoj Chaulagain as the treasurer of the academy.

Addressing the gathering, Chairman of Madan Bhandari Sports Academy and Constituent Assembly member Binod Shrestha said that the academy has made a great contribution in the field of sports. Chairman Shrestha said that the academy would continue to highly appreciate the contribution made by the sport and the players to the country and would help the new players from the sports field to show the way to the future.

At the gathering, Central Member of the Communist Party of Nepal Juneli Shrestha said that politicians should be ethical in politics as players are in sports.

Navin Sigdel, central member of the academy and chairman of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City Ward No. 4, said that the academy has played a supportive role not only in Makawanpur district but also across the country at the meeting which was chaired by Prakash Subedi, Vice-Chairman of the Academy, Makawanpur.
