Makawanpur: – The Hetauda-based office of the Health Supply Management Center in Bagmati state has stored the vaccine against corona virus, which can be used to treat 2.5 Lakhs people.
The vaccines have been reached to Hetauda which has been sent by the government for the people of Makawanpur, Chitwan and Sindhuli of Bagmati State and for 6 districts of the state No. 2.
Chief Basanta Adhikari of the Health Supply Management Center informed that preparations are being made to vaccinate the age group above 55 years from Phalgun-23.
The chief informed that the vaccine against corona has been stored in the office premises till the vaccine is sent to other districts.
In Makawanpur district alone, 57,000 people over the age of 55 will be vaccinated, said Pranay Upadhyaya, chief of the District Health Office, Makawanpur. According to him, the citizens will be vaccinated against corona from Hetauda Hospital.
