Makawanpur: – Hetauda Sub-metropolitan Ward No. 9 Office has provided sports materials to the players playing Municipal Cup football and volleyball.

Sports materials have been provided to the players participating in the Mayor Cup Ward Level Football Tournament starting from Phalgun-14 and the Deputy Mayor Cup Volleyball Tournament starting from Phalgun-19 in Hetauda.

Addressing the program, Ward Chairman of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan Ward No. 9 Laxman Prasad Bhandari provided jerseys, tracks, and boots to the players. He informed that the ward is equally responsible for the development of sports along with the development of the ward.

He also said that the competition held at the local level has encouraged the players to move forward.

The ward has formed a men’s football team under the captaincy of Amir Shrestha and a women’s volleyball team under the captaincy of Ayusha Singh.
