‘Pashupatinath Secondary’ welcomed the school nurse

Makawanpur: – The nurse has been welcomed by Pashupatinath Secondary School in Manine Gaonpalika Ward No. 4 of Makawanpur. The school management committee has welcomed Gayatri Moktan, a school nurse who attended Pashupatinath High School under the state government’s One School One Nurse Program.

Ward Chairman of Manahari-4 Dhrub Khadka welcomed school nurse Moktan at the school.

The program chaired by Madhav Gautam was attended by School Management Committee members Radhakrishna Sinkhada, Mira Gautam, Bishnu Bal, Sita Nepali, teacher representative Manoj Chaulagain, student representative Sandhya Hamal, Dipesh Dhakal and others.

School principal Bhanubhakta Acharya said that the school expects the presence of school nurses in rural areas to gradually improve in health, sanitation, nutrition and other aspects.

Along with Pashupatinath Higher Secondary School, where 544 children are studying, a school one nurse program has been implemented in the National Higher Secondary School Sunachuri of Manahari village this year. School nurse Srijana Moktan has been working at the National High School in Sunachuri since Magh-12.

Similarly, a school one nurse program was implemented in ‘Rotary Sec. School of Manahari’ last year. School nurses are working in 3 out of 8 community schools in Manahari village municipality.
