Interaction between CELRRD and the media on human trafficking and child protection
Makawanpur: – The Center for Legal Research and Resource Development (CELRRD) has interacted with media persons in Makawanpur on human trafficking and child protection.
Jagannath Subedi of CELLRD Makawanpur informed that the orientation program was organized to help the media personnel in disseminating news saying that human trafficking and child protection are very sensitive issues.
The situation of human trafficking, human trafficking and protection of children in Makawanpur has also been discussed in the program.
During the program, Advocate Ram Mani Gautam briefed the media persons about the protection of the rights of the victims, compensation and rehabilitation, the rights of the victims, the laws that provide for the rights of the victims, the provisions of the law of Nepal for the protection of the rights of the victims, the rights of the victims.
Kapil Aryal, Associate Professor of Kathmandu School of Law has clarified over child protection and human trafficking also about the provisions of national and international law, Nepali legal provisions on child rights and child protection, Nepalese legal provisions against human trafficking and the responsibilities of local governments.
The program discusses similarities in global definitions of human rights, obstacles to the creation of a global concept of human trafficking and the conceptual clarity of human trafficking, differences between organized human trafficking, human trafficking and trafficking and prostitution.
Keshav Duwadi, who is also a former media person, had discussed about the media sector and the role of media persons on the issue.
