Election update of Makawanpur district

Makawanpur: – The District Election Office, Makawanpur, has completed preparations for the upcoming election which is to be held in Baishakh.

Arrangements have been made for voting from 338 polling stations in 165 polling centers in the district.

Chief of the District Election Office, Makawanpur, Govinda Prasad Paudel informed that 272,478 voters of Makawanpur will be able to participate in the election.

According to Chief District Officer of Makawanpur, Govinda Risal, all the necessary security strategy has been prepared for the election.

He said that the election code of conduct would be fully complied with. He said that the queue and banquets of vehicles during the election would be regulated and controlled.

Meanwhile, the Election Commission has interacted with the stakeholders regarding the provisions in the draft Election Code of Conduct 2077 BS.

Representatives of political parties of the district, security chiefs of Makawanpur, journalists and others participated in the program.
