Chitwan: – A deer died on the spot after being hit by a truck (Na 6 Kha 1460) heading towards Nuwakot from Rautahat on the road in front of Ratnanagar Municipality-9 Sichai Gate on Wednesday morning.

The District Police Office, Chitwan, has arrested Anil Kumal, 24, driver of the truck who is resident of Devchuli-1, Nawalpur.

Anila Kumal, who was absconding after being hit, was taken under control from Bharatpur-1, Ramnagar.

The truck and its driver have been sent to the District Forest Office for necessary action, said Chitwan Police.
