Nepali Congress Central Committee meeting is being held today
Kathmandu: – A meeting of the Central Committee of the Nepali Congress is being held. A meeting is scheduled to be held at 2 pm today to discuss the party’s 14th general convention and upcoming programs.
The meeting will be held at the party office, Sanepa. Congress central member Badri Pandey informed that the meeting will discuss the schedule of the upcoming 14th general convention, review of the movement against the dissolution of the parliament and future plans.
The term of the current working committee of the Congress, elected from the 13th General Convention, ended in Phalgun of 2076 BS.
The term was extended by one year as per the provisions of the constitution. The extended term is coming to an end on Phalgun-20. Even after that, the Congress might extend the period for six months as per the constitutional facility.
A leader informed that a decision may be taken from today’s meeting of the Central Committee.
