Provincial Assembly meeting postponed due to pressure of Oli faction
Makawanpur: – The meeting of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly has been postponed. The meeting scheduled for 2 pm today has been postponed until further notice by issuing a notice by Sanu Kumar Shrestha at 6: 35 Am.
Speaker Shrestha has given special reasons for postponing the meeting. The meeting of the Provincial Assembly is becoming complicated after 45 members of the Prachanda-Madhav faction of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) filed a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Dormani Paudel of the Prime Minister KP Oli’s faction.
According to Prachanda-Madhav faction MPs, the meeting was adjourned due to pressure from the ruling party.
Earlier, the meeting scheduled for Magh-19 was adjourned till Phalgun-5 by Speaker Shrestha under the pressure of the Chief Minister.
