Makawanpur: – A person has died in a sumo accident at Golmodal in Bhimphedi Gaupalika Ward No. 9 of Makawanpur last night.

According to the District Police Office, Makawanpur, a person died after falling the Sumo 50 meters down from the Road (Na 1 Ja 4138) heading to Chandranigapur from Kathmandu via Hetauda last night.

The deceased has been identified as Pramananda Chaudhary, 33, of Saptari.

According to Indra Bahadur Rana, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Makawanpur, he died during his treatment at Hetauda Hospital.

According to him, four others injured in the accident are undergoing treatment at Chure Hill Hospital in Hetauda-11 and their condition is stable.

The other passengers injured in the accident have been discharged after normal treatment, according to Makawanpur Police.
