Makawanpur: – On the recommendation of the caretaker government Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, President Bidyadevi Bhandari has dissolved the House of Representatives in an undemocratic and unconstitutional manner and against the dissolution Nepali Congress and sisters organizations are going to hold protest against the move made by the Oli.

A press conference was organized in Hetauda on Friday and According to the central program of the Nepali Congress, a program of protest has been fixed in Makawanpur today.

The press conference was chaired by Kumar Adhikari, President of Nepal Press Union and was attended by representatives of Congress-affiliated fraternal organizations and voluntary organizations.

Nepali Congress Makawanpur spokesperson Pradip Koirala informed that the demonstration will be held today.

He said that a demonstration would be held at 12 noon on Saturday from the party office in Manaschowk, Pulpasaroad Bazaar area and after reaching Buddhachowk it would turn into a rally. According to the Nepali Congress, Makawanpur, the protest will last for about an hour.

The Congress has already staged protests at the district level, regional level and wards level in Makawanpur.
