Assistance to the family of two needy single women of Hetauda

Makawanpur: – Radio Makawanpur, run by Divyatara Multipurpose Cooperative Limited and Divyatara, has provided assistance of Rs 25,000 each to the families of two needy single women within the Hetauda Sub-metropolis.

Bipfimaya Pakhrin Tamang of Nakauli in Hetauda Sub-Metropolis-1 and Laxmi Maya Waiba of Ghattedmar in Hetauda-15 were given Rs 25,000 in cash during a program on Monday.

Both Pakhrin and Waiba are poor single women. As both the houses have thatched roofs, the cooperatives and the radio have provided cash assistance for the installation of tin.

Under week-long program by the Cooperation, they have been provided support on the occasion of 23rd foundation day of Divyatara the 11th annual general assembly of Radio Makawanpur.

The program was chaired by Anandaram Parajuli, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Radio Makwanpur and hosted by Mahalakshmi Upadhyaya Dina, Chairman of Divyatara Cooperative. Cooperative Chairperson Dina expressed her commitment to continue the ‘Jastapata Sahayog’ program in the coming years as well.

The lamented that the people of remote settlements of Hetauda Sub-metropolis have not been able to feel the relief of being residents of the sub-metropolis.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Radio Makwanpur Anandaram Parajuli expressed his commitment to take initiative to build public toilets and also to organize health camps.
