Makawanpur: – The Election Commission has invited both sides of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) for a discussion. The commission wrote separate letters to KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ in order to ask them to participate in the discussion.

Spokesperson of the commission Raj Kumar Shrestha said that they were called for discussion at 11:30 am on Friday to discuss on the two topics.

With the government’s decision to dissolve the House of Representatives on Poush-5, the activities of Oli and Prachanda Madhav groups in the CPN have been going on in different ways. The commission has not recognized the politically and practically divided CPN. In a petition filed with the commission by both the parties claiming to be official, the commission had said that the claims of both the parties would not be met.
