It is ashame to call regressive Oli a comrade: – Shakya
Makawanpur: – Bagmati State Assembly member Ashtalakshmi Shakya has said that they have been taken to the streets against the regression of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
Addressing the seventh session of the state assembly, she said that the federal democratic republic was trapped due to the arbitrariness and arrogance of the prime minister and that the CPN had reached at the point of fraction.
She said that KP Oli is a regressive and it would be a shame to call him a comrade.
Stating that the Prime Minister had dissolved the House of Representatives out of whims and fancies, she said that they were forced to take to the streets demanding the restoration of the parliament and added that CPN has split even though it has not split legally, she termed this problem within the party as unfortunate.
Shakya, a leader of the Prachanda-Nepal faction in the CPN, said that the issue has reached the Election Commission. She said that KP Oli had betrayed the people’s trust by taking regressive steps even though the people trusted the CPN for prosperity and development.
