Makawanpur:– The District Police Office, Makawanpur, has arrested 34 people involved in drug trafficking in the first five months of the current fiscal year. Out of them, 5 are women and 29 are men.

According to the District Police Office, Makawanpur, most of the arrested are from Makawanpur and they are from Raksirang, Bakaiya, Kailash and Thahanagar Municipality of Makawanpur.

According to Rana, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Makawanpur, 30 drug cases have been registered among the arrested. According to him, 584 kg of drugs have been seized from Shrawan to Mangsir of the current fiscal year.

Similarly, about 300 kg of Gaza has been seized so far in January, according to the police.

It has been informed that makawanpur police have seized 22 kg of charesh and 4,528 tablets of nitrovet till December this year. The police seized 200 tablets of Fenargon, 218 tablets of Nurfin and 240 bottles of Corex.
