NC selected representative for theirs demonstration

Makawanpur. The Nepali Congress (NC) in Makawanpur has appointed a district representative to protest against the unconstitutional and undemocratic move of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to dissolve the parliament.

A meeting of NC office bearers in Makawanpur has appointed acting president Bishnu Prasad Lamichhane in Hetauda Sub-metropolis and district advisor in Thaha municipality Jayaram Lamichhane as district representatives for the protests and demonstrations to be held at all 10 local levels of Makawanpur on Magh-3.

Similarly, Gopilal Bishwakarma, district treasurer in Bagmati, Pradip Korirala, spokesperson in Bakaiya, Rambabu Bania, joint secretary in Makawanpurgadhi and Rita Khanal, advisor in Bhimphedi have been appointed as district representatives.

As well as, District Secretary Buddha Lama has been appointed in Indrasharobar, Prabhat Kumar Dahal in Kailash, Uma Dahal in Raksirang and Michael Ramchandra Aryal in Manahari, said Makwanpur spokesperson Pradip Koirala.

As part of the Congress’ protest program, protests and demonstrations will be held in all 753 local bodies across the country on Magh-3 and in 6,743 wards of 753 local bodies on Magh-8.
