Makawanpur: – No-confidence motion has been filed against Chief Minister of Province No.1, Sherdhan Rai where 36 MP have signed in the motion against him.

Outgoing Finance Minister Indra Ango is the proposer of the No-confidence motion against him and Tehrathum MP Laxman Tiwari is in the list of supporter. It is said that additional members of the Prachanda-Madhav Nepal faction failed to sign even though it had 36 signatures.

Minister for social Development Jeevan Ghimire and two other ministers of state have resigned the day after Chief Minister Sherdhan Rai dismissed the Finance Minister of State-1, Indra Angbo. All three have already resigned resignation letters.

Ministers of State who resigned from their post have been identified as Social Development Minister  Jasmaya Gajmer and Minister of State for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment Vijay Kumar Biswas along with who Social Development Minister Ghimire.

These kind of political effects have been seen after the split of the CPN at the center, it has affected Province -1 also. Leaders of Prachanda-Madhav faction are preparing to file a no-confidence motion against KP Oli’s centered chief minister Sherdhan Rai in state-1.

On Saturday, Chief Minister Sherdhan Rai fired (Dismissed) Finance Minister Indra Ango on the same Charge. Earlier, Ango was supposed to be in support of ‘Badal Group’. However, after PM Oli dissolved the parliament and split the party, he left the ‘Badal Group’ and joined the Prachanda-Madhav faction.

A no-confidence motion has already been filed against Bagmati State Chief Minister Dormani Paudel after the CPN got split.
