Makawanpur: – Road accidents have been on the rise in Makawanpur district. According to the District Traffic Police Office, Makawanpur, 107 road accidents have taken place in the district from Shrawan to Mangsir of the current FY.

According to Police, 27 people have been killed in road accidents over the last five months. Among hem 19 are men, 2 women and 2 children. Also, full details of the four people who died in Mangsir have not been released yet.

Similarly, 101 people have been seriously injured and 74 others have suffered from minor injuries so far after Shrawan, according to the District Police Office, Makawanpur.

In the Shrawan only, among 17 accidents, 7 died in the accidents and 13 others seriously got injured.

Similarly, six persons were seriously injured and seven others sustained minor injuries in eight road accidents in Bhadra.

Als in Ashoj, out of 35 road accidents, 13 died and 31 seriously injured in the accidents and 29 others got minor injuries.

Moreover, in Kartik only 24 road accidents took place, in which 3 died and 27 seriously injured as well as 20 got minor injuries.

Lastly, in Mangsir in the 23 different roads accidents, 4 died in the accidents and 23 seriously injured and 10 others got minor injuries.
