PCR service in Hetauda Hospital
Makawanpur: – PCR test will now be conducted from Hetauda Hospital with the support of Bagmati State Government on the suspicious of Corona Virus (Covid-19) infection.
With the support of the state government, the Hospital Development Committee is preparing to set up a PCR laboratory in the existing OPD room within the next 15 days, said Hospital Development Committee Chairman Prakash Paudel.
According to him, the PCR machine provided by the state government will arrive in a few days and other necessary materials are being arranged for the establishment of the laboratory.
Corona will now be tested from two locations in Hetauda. The state government was testing the corona by setting up a laboratory at the Insect Diseases and Research Training center at Hetauda-10.
The insect laboratory is being operated under the management of the Ministry of Social Development of the state while the laboratory to be set up at Hetauda Hospital will be managed by the Hospital Development Committee. Chairman Paudel said that the hospital would also manage the manpower required for the laboratory.
