Makawanpur: – The foundation stone of proposed ‘Madan Bhandari Regional stadium’ has been laid in Manahari Gaupalika Wada No.7. Chief Minister of Bagmati State Dormani Paudel has laid the foundation stone of the stadium during a program on Saturday.

Initially, the Bagamati State Government provided Rs 4 Million for the construction of the stadium compound, said Ekraj Upreti, Chairman of Manahari Gaupalika. The amount will be used for the construction of the wall at 383 meters. Chief Minister informed that the state government is ready to assist in the construction of the stadium.

Chairman of the wall construction committee Bhimsen Khadka said that the work of installing the wall would be completed within three months. He believed that the stadium land would be protected form this wall. The Local Club has been protecting the land. The stadium has about 30 Bigha of Land.
