Thunderstorm killed 14 people in Pakistan
Pakistan: – In the northwestern Pakistan, at least 14 people have been killed whereas there others injured when lightning struck two residential building.
The incident took place in Torjar, a hilly area in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Provincial spokesman Kamran Bangash told the AFP news agency: “Two houses belonging to the brothers were damaged by the lightning and at least 14 members of the family were killed.”
Earlier, landslides were reported in some places due to torrential monsoon rains in that area and in November 2019, 18 people were killed in a lightning strike in Pakistan’s Thar Desert.
