Makawanpur: – Nepali Congress Makawanpur has held a district level discussion program with the central leaders of the Nepali Congress regarding active membership.

A district-level discussion program on active membership was held in Hetauda on Thursday under the chairmanship of Congress Bagmati Pradesh Parliamentary Party Leader and Makawanpur Party President Indra Bahadur Baniya and the chief guest of Nepali Congress Central Member and Central Coordinator of Active Membership Investigation Committee Ramesh Lekhak.

On the occasion, Shyam Ghimire, Central Member of the Congress and Bagmati Pradesh Coordinator of the Active Investigation Committee, and Pradip Paudel, Central Member and Speaker expressed their views on the upcoming Congress General Convention and distribution of active membership.

During the discussion program, the federal chairpersons of the House of Representatives, the mayors and the chairpersons of all the eight village councils expressed their views on the problems and challenges in the distribution of active membership about which the chief guest had answered.

The program was attended by office bearers and members of NC Makawanpur, advisors, office bearers and members of fraternal and well-wishers’ organizations, ward chairpersons and people’s representatives of various local bodies of Makawanpur.
