Kathmandu:- Nepali Congress leader Navindra Raj Joshi has passed away. Joshi, whose treatment was being carried for a stroke at Norvik Hospital in Kathmandu, died at 8:24 pm on Friday.

Joshi was taken to Bir Hospital on Phalgun-21 after he was diagnosed with a health problem at home but Bir had referred him to Norvik.

The hospital had been treating him with the help of a ventilator since the beginning of his stroke. Congress central member Joshi was also a former minister and former MP.

Joshi’s body will be laid to rest at the party’s central office from 12 noon to 2 pm, according to the party office.
