Kathmandu: – The Prachanda-Madhav faction of the CPN has called their close MPs for discussions. The Prachanda-Madhav faction has called the MPs for a discussion after the Supreme Court overturned the government’s unconstitutional decision to dissolve the House of Representatives.

Presidents Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Madhav Nepal are returning to Kathmandu from Chitwan for discussions with the MPs.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday overturned the government’s decision to dissolve the House of Representatives and go to the polls. After Prime Minister KP Oli recommended the dissolution of the House of Representatives, the court ruled that all decisions made by President Bidyadevi Bhandari in this regard were unconstitutional.

Similarly, the court has issued an order to convene a meeting of the parliament within 13 days.
