Makawanpur. The Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) has removed CPN-Makawanpur district chairman Munu Sigdel and secretary Prem Bahadur Pulami from the post.

Rameshwor Rana, district co-incharge of the CPN-Oli faction, said that Sigdel and Pulami were removed from their posts at a meeting of the CPN-UML cadres in Hetauda on Saturday.Sigdel and Pulami are close to the Prachanda-Nepal faction of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN).The Oli faction has removed Sigdel and nominated Eklal Shrestha for the post.
