Makawanpur: – Leaders of various political parties have demanded to make public the details of the city’s program and expenditure with the Thaha Municipal Office located in the northern region of Makawanpur. Political parties handed over a demand letter to Thaha Municipality Chief Labsher Bista on Tuesday and demanded details of the programs held at the ward and city level of the thematic branches of Thaha Municipality in the last fiscal year 2076/77 BS and its expenditure.

The demand letter signed by Indra Bahadur Shrestha, Hareram Karki, chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party Thaha Nagar Committee, Nepali Congress Thaha Nagar Samiti President Yogendraman Shrestha, , in-charge of the ‘Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal’ Makawanpur Constituency no.2 and Dinesh Bista, chairman of the Rastriya Janamorcha Thaha Nagar Committee , it been has demanded to  establis tourism branch in the municipality.

Congress leader Pramod Joshi, who participated in the delegation, said that the demand was made to maintain the posts as per the posts fixed by the Government of Nepal at the local level.
