Makawanpur. Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s wife Sita Dahal has been taken to Mumbai, India for further treatment.

She was taken to Mumbai by a Nepal Airlines flight at 11 am.

Along with Sita, Chairman Prachanda and daughter Ganga Dahal have also rushed to Mumbai. Sita will be treated at the ‘Neurogen Brain and Spine Institute.

The director and consultant neurosurgeon of the hospital, Dr. Vishnu Sapkota, Prachanda’s press advisor, informed that Alok Sharma’s team will treat him.

Sita Dahal has long suffered from a complex form of Parkinson’s disease. It is called ‘Progressive Supranuclear Palsy PSP’.

Dahal, who has been undergoing treatment at Medicity Hospital in Bhaisepati, was taken to Mumbai on Monday.
