Makawanpur: – In Hetauda Sub-metropolitan Wada No. 15, 307 people including Lal Bahadur Ghalan, a candidate for the post of Ward chairperson in the local level election from the UML-Maoist, have joined Nepali Congress.

He had joined the NC including Binod Rumba, Bhim Bahadur Ghalan along with Ghalan who were candidates for the post of ward chairperson on behalf of the Maoist in the program organized on Sunday.

Leaders of the NC Bagmati State Indra Bahadur Baniya, Vice President Bishnu Lamichhane, Former President Michael Ramchandra Aryal, Secretary Buddha Lama, Deputy Metropolitan President Anandaram Parajuli and others have give them membership of the Nepali Congress.

Leader Baniya accused the communist of cultivating lies of being immersed in corruption and said that the excesses of the communists are certain to destroy the country. He said that the people could not feel any relief even after reaching the communist government through politics in the name of poor, workers and peasants.

Now where are the one houses-one job, 5,000 old age allowance and free treatment promised by the government?, requested to ask with the government. Ward Ghalan, who joined the NC, said that even after 28 years of serving the communist party, he was not satisfied with the work and could not work for the welfare citizens. He said that he had been under a lot of pressure since he was asked to join the Congress. He requested to be employed and expressed his commitment to fulfill the given responsibility.

Ward President Maharatna Lama, ‘Adivasi Janajati Sangh’ municipal Secretary Sharmila Moktan, Congress Regional Secretary Ghanshyam Nepal and others expressed their views at the program chaired by ward President Gopalman Syangtan.

Congress Vice President Bishnu Lamichhane, Former President Michael Ramchandra Aryal, Secretay Buddha Lama, Deputy metropolitan President Ananaram Parajuli, spokeperson Pradip Koirala, District Member Rajiv Subedi, Indira Neupane, Sunil Adhikari, Leader Bharat Parajuli, Tarun Regional President Sanjay Shrestha, Women’s Association Secretary Nilam Devkota were present in the program.
