Congress protestors from all four checkpoints of Hetauda
Makawanpur: – Nepali Congress Makawanpur is protesting against the government’s activities today. The protest rally will be addressed by Nepali Congress president and Former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, the party said in a press conference. NC Makawanpur has stated that it has made splendid preparation for the protest.
The government has declared the movement saying that it is trying to destroy democracy, communist totalitarianism is on the rise, corruption is on the rise and the security of the people is at stake.
Indra Bahadur Baniya, president of the NC Makawanpur and leader of the parliamentary party of Bagmati State, informed TuKhabar that all the necessary preparation have been completed to make the demonstration in Hetauda, the capital of Bagmati State, grand.
According to the Nepali Congress, mass demonstration will be held from all four checkpoints in Hetauda. The rally of Wada No. 5,6,7,16,17 and 18 will enter from Hetauda-5 Sanopokhara while the rallies of 3,11 and 19 will gather in front of the Road Division Office and join the main rally.
Similarly, Congress has planned to merge the 1st, 2nd and rally of Wada No. 1 and 2 from Chowki Tol to the main rally. Similarly, the rallies of Wada No. 4, 8,9,10 ,12 ,13 ,14 and 15 will be held from the Institute of Forest Science Studies, said NC Makawanpur.
Congress has also made various preparations to intensify the people’s demonstration. The rally from Sanopokhara on the eastern side will be led by President Baniya, while the demonstration from the northern region will be led by Central member Dina Upadhayaya and Chief Advisor Michael Ramchandra Aryal. Similarly, the rally coming from the south will be led by the incumbent President Raghuman Neupane, Spokesperson Pradeep Koirala and Regional Presidents. Congress District Secretary Buddha Lama will lead the rally entering from west. Gaupalika leaders and cadres will participate in the demonstration from the place where they can afford it.
Central Chairman Deuba is addressing the meeting to be held at Buddhachowk. Congress spokesperson Bishwaprakash Sharma is also coming to address the gathering. According to NC Makawanpur, Baniya and Upadhayaya will also address the rally.
