People took to the streets exciting by the former King’s decent behavior: RPP Chairman Thapa

Makawanpur. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) central chairman Kamal Thapa has said that the people have taken to the streets in favor of the constitutional monarchy (King) due to the decent behavior of former King Gyanendra for 14 years.

Addressing a program in Hetauda on Thursday, Thapa expressed that the general public, including the youth, have spontaneously united in favor of the constitutional monarchy and Hindu National keeping in mind that the kings were kicked out from the power using international political power by the leaders.

He said that the monarchy was dismantled not only because of the government led by the current PM KP Sharma Oli but also due to external forces, this cannot be denied.

Expressing his determination that the republicans should not be intimidated by the monarchists and the monarchists should not be intimidated by the republicans, he said that there is no alternative to parliamentary democracy in the country and suggested the leaders to overcome the current situation with the referendum.

After the unification of RPP, Chairman Thapa also unveiled the election symbol and flag as ‘ Plough and Cow’ today.

RPP Central Member Bijay Khadka, Nawaraj Bista, Rajaram Bartaula, Madhu Adhikari, Bal Krishna Karki and Party Makawanpur President Ram Hari Neupane were present on the occasion.
