Makawnapur: – The Mayor’s Cup football tournament will be held in Hetauda from Friday.

The competition to be held in Huprachaur of Hetauda is being organized by the Municipal Sports Development Committee Hetauda Sub-metropolis.

The game will be inaugurated at 2 pm today in Huprachaur, according to the organizers.

Chairman of the committee Chandra Shahi informed that 19 teams will participate in the Mayor’s Cup competition starting from today till Phalgun-24.

The winner of the competition will get Rs 200,000 in cash and the runner-up will get Rs 150,000 in cash along with a shield, medal and certificate.

Similarly, the best player will get Rs 10,000 in cash, the best defender, midfielder, goalkeeper, coach and top scorer will get Rs 5,000 each.
