Makawanpur: – The Traffic Division has arrested four persons involved in motorcycle theft from Kathmandu.

The arrested are identified as are Dhan Bahadur Tamang of Gajuri, Dhading, Indra Tamang of Thakre, Rikhilal Tamang and Nirash Thing of Thaha Municipality, Makawanpur.

Nirash Thing of Makawanpur, the main protagonist of the theft, was also arrested during the investigation, police said.

After receiving reports of motorcycle theft, the traffic police had been actively conducting special operations in its plain clothes for several months. With the operation of the special operation team, the number of arrests of gangs involved in motorcycle theft has increased.

Police have arrested 11 people in Magh only and sent them to various circles for investigation into the motorcycle theft case, according to the department.
