Makawanpur. A new method of testing corona has been started in Hetauda. Bhola Chaulagai, director of public health at Hetauda Sub-metropolis, said that even though corona was being tested by PCR method, now samples of corona infection are being tested by antigen method.

According to him, VTM has been used for testing with PCR method and testing has been started with this technology as new antigen method has been introduced.

Chaulagain informed that the test was arranged twice in the morning and in the afternoon using the antigen method. According to Chaulagain, the material has arrived to test 3,000 people.

Swabs are collected from the nose for antigen testing, as in the PCR test.
