‘Pashupatinath Secondary’ got masks, Sanitizers and Soaps
Makawanpur. Health care materials have been provided to the school girls in the support of NGO to continue to their studies even during menstruation. ‘Help and Cooperation for Development Nepal’ has provided monthly health items to 110 students of Pashupati Nath Secondary School in Manahari-4, Masine.
Wada Chairman of Manahari-4 Dhurba Khadka has distributed bags of health items to the students at a program chaired by School Management Committee Chairman Madhav Gautam.
Shila Devkota, program Coordinator of ‘Help and Cooperation (HELPCOD) Nepal, said that the sanitary pads that are used only once can have a negative impact on the environment and can affect public health in case of not knowing the way to use them, so the renewable pads have been distributed among the girls which can be used multiple times washing them.
The monthly security supplies provided to 500 students of Ichhakamana Gaupalika of Chitwan and Manahari Gaupalika of Makawanpur includes soaps, brushes, underwear reusable pads, nail cutters and combs. HELPCOD has also provided information board and stationery along with sports equipment for the children’s club at Pashupatinath Sec. School.
In order to make it easier to study during the Covid-19 epidemic, the organization has also provided masks, sanitizers, soaps and other materials to the school, said HELPCOD Nepal staff Vikas Chepang. Sanitizers based on sensor is provided with automatic sanitizers machine in the place.
During the occasion, Bidhur Pathak, Deputy Secretary of Manahari-4, Bhanubhakta Acharya, Principal of the school, Ishwar Rijal, Teachers and others said that the NGO has done important work for the children of the community schools. HELPCOD Nepal is also providing assistance to Chepang Primary School and Srijana Primary School of Manahari-04.
