Texas: – More than 100 vehicles collided on an interstate road in the US state of Texas on Thursday morning.

The New York Times reports that six people have died in the crash so far. Dozens of people were trapped inside their vehicles.

It is said that the accident may have taken place as the road was slippery due to snow.

According to the Fort Worth Fire Department, 18 wheels and cars were involved in the accident. A video broadcast by local media shows one vehicle riding on top of another.

Thirty-six people injured in the accident have been taken to hospital and the condition of three of them is critical. 65 people have been given general treatment.
