Panchthar – A person died on the spot in a road accident at Simkharka of Dilihang rural municipality-7 in Panchthar district today.
The deceased has been identified as Umesh Singh Mahaseth of Kathmandu.

The accident took place when a mini-truck (Ba 28 Pa 6683) fell some 500 metres off the road, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Bamdev Gautam.

Similarly, Sambhu Mahara, 24, of Mahottari, who was seriously injured in the accident, is receiving treatment at District Hospital, Panchthar. – RSS
