Makawanpur. Makawanpur Police has destroyed 16.7 acres of opium farming at two villages in Makawanpur. The District Police Office, Makawanpur, said that the police team has cleared 13.3 acres opium in the Bakaiya Rural municipality and 13.4 acres in Raxirang Rural municipality.
The joint police team of Phaparbari Area Police Office and Hattisunde Police Station has destroyed illegal opium farming at Sano Jyamire and ThuloJyamire in Bakaiya Ward No. 6.
Similarly, the police team mobilized from Manahari Area Police Office has cleared illegal opium cultivation at Devitar in Raxirang Ward No. 4.
