Stop Careless Speech about Provincial Affairs: Deputy Speaker Tamang
Makwanpur. Radhika Tamang, Deputy Speaker of Province No. 3, has said that no one can speak carelessly about the capital and Province’s name. She said that they should think seriously about the name of the Province and the capital. “At present I am in doubt, while standing before you, but about the matter of Province No. 3 and its capital everyone must be responsible”, said Tamang addressing to the second district convention of Tamang Communication Group Makawanpur.’
“Although the leaders, ministers and the members of provincial assembly have keen interest on provincial affairs, they should not speak in a hurry. It may cause the negative effects.”, said the deputy speaker Tamang. After inaugurating the second district convention of Tamang Communication Group, Makawanpur on Saturday, she drew the attention of concerned authorities on their careless speech about the provincial affairs- the long-term impact matters. “The No. 3 has a lot of curiosities about the permanent capital and name of the Province,” She said, ” I want to ask the Political parties, the public representatives to go ahead seriously in this regard.”
According to deputy speaker the executives, as being the representatives of public, should not raise the voice of a particular district, a community, a class or a gender. “A capable leader never turns to be chicken feet, but to be eagle wings”, expressed her anguish towards the ministers and political leaders. Instead of flattering a quarrel about the province capital and its name, she urged the leadership to choose suitable place and name for everyone to take out the solution.
She said that it would be beneficial to terminate the matter of temporary or permanent capitalism as it is not allowing the officials to join their services. She further said that the physical infrastructure was constructed in other states and it was sad to create confusion among the people here.
She showed her dissatisfaction about the officials who were in temporary assignment were also searched from the federal assembly secretariat and conducted the meeting.
She revealed that provincial assembly could work strongly but the confusion about provincial capital was killing its significance. On the ground of many journalists created doubt about the capitalism without proper sources and facts, she requested media to be serious. Journalism, as being the fourth stakeholder of the state, she emphasized that the journalists should also be fairly cooperative in making the prosperous country and effective federal and provincial government. “On the scenario of 22 legal laws are being constructed in the Province No. 3, after the presidential election, the meeting of the Provincial assembly will be called”, said Tamang.
The members of the Provincial Assembly Kumari Moktan, Om Ghalan, Deputy Mayor of Hetauda sub metropolitan city Mina Lama, Mayor of Bhimphedi Rural Metropolitan Hidam Lama, District President of Nepal Tamang Ghedung Sangh Lilakumar Ghalan, Central General Secretary of Tamang Communication Group Bishnu Moktan, and others focused added responsibility of journalists about the new system and effective implementation of the prosperity and development of the country. The convention has selected 11-member new executive committee under the chairmanship of Chandra Ghalan. Similarly Vice Chairperson Janak Tamang, Secretary Dil Bahadur Rumba, Treasurer Sunu Thing, Joint Secretary Rammaya Tamang were elected as unopposed candidates.
In the program, the group honored Deputy Speaker Radhika Tamang including the Tamang people who were elected in Provincial Assembly, Municipalities and Rural Metropolitans in Makwanpur.
