Makawanpur. Under the 16-days campaign against sexual violence in Bakaiya Village municipality of Makawanpur, a program will be organized involving women from marginalized minority communities.

A campaign preparation meeting chaired by Village Municipality Vice-Chairperson SaralaBolkhe on Monday decided to conduct the work with the representation of women from the marginalized minority communities including Rai and Majhi.

Under the campaign, the village municipality has decided to hold a program involving local women and children with ethnic representative from all the Wada.

Associations and organizations working locally have also agreed to make the program success organized by the village municipality. The international Day Against Sexual Violence is celebrated every year from November 25 to December 10.
