Selection of 400 trainees by Hetauda Sub-metropolis
Makawanpur. A total 400 people have been selected from those who have undergone ‘enterprise development and business planning’ training with the help of UNDP and Safe Immigration Project(SAMI) service providers in the specified wards of Hetauda sub-metropolis.
Deputy Mayor of Hetauda Sub-metropolis, Minakumari Lama informed that vocational training has been provided in short and long term and technical assistance has been provided to start enterprises and business after the training.
35 peoples have been given training in Papaya farming, 71 peoples in tunnel construction, 55 peoples in Banana farming training, 30 peoples in Horticulture, 20 peoples in auto mechanic training (women) and 20 people in fiber bag making training.
Similarly, Integrated Electronic Goods Maintenance Training 15, Agricultural Commodity Trade Training 15, Commercial Lemon Cultivation 50(93 Groups), Coffee Cultivation 25, Homestay 10 Homes, Mobile Maintenance Training 10, Sanitary Pad Making 10 were given.
In the coordination with the Safe Immigration Project (SAMI), there have been programs including Printing of Informational Materials, broadcasting of radio messages and training for Capacity Building of the Staff of the Organization.
