For the first time, the local people have been able to get electricity of Rupachuli of Manhari Gaupalika Wada No. 6 Makawanpur in their home. Local peoples knew no limit of happiness after getting the electricity. In the Rupachuli, which is considered as remote place of Manhari Gaupalika, electricity has been provided by using iron poles.

Generally, the local peoples have been facing problems to fulfill the basic needs like Drinking water, Roads, Electricity Etc. On the initiative of Birod Khatiwada, who is member of Parliament, electricity has been provided to the local people.

Electricity has been provided by burying iron poles in the investment of 36 lakhs.

Recently, work has been going on in the extension of electricity from Rupachuli to Pharing in the investment of 1 Crore rupees. The projects has been going on with the investment of Central Government in the initiative of Khatiwada. Under this project, in the investment of 1 Crore the wood poles are being replaced by the iron poles at Manhari Gaupalika Wada No. 7 market area.

Khatiwada inaugurated the electricity by pressing the switch. ” It was my commitment with the local and now I’m only fulfilling those promise”- Khatiwada Said. The works have been doing on the drinking water, Road and electricity in this area.

Khatiwada also informed that the extension work of electricity has been going on  for “UJYALO PROGRAM” in Raksirang Gaupalika. He also requested not to use hook with the local people.

He also said-” Government has provided different subsidies to the different group of the people. Also government has provided free electricity to the less unit consumer of electricity, then why should you steal the electricity? ”

Khatiwada also informed ” Forces are being done to legalize cultivation of weed for the people of remote places in Makawanpur.” – But now it is banned for the cultivation of weeds in Nepal. We are doing forces to legalize cultivation and purifying of weeds to export in foreign. ”
