Makawanpur: – Anusha Upreti has been elected as the president of Navodaya Literary Garden Children’s Club. A new 13-member committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Upreti from the first convention of the club held on Friday.

For the club Seron Giri has been elected as the vice president, Darshana Sapkota as the secretary, Jasmine Paudel as the joint secretary and Sneha Rimal as the treasurer of the club.

Similarly, Roshni Kumari Mahato, Stuti Guragai, Sasa Adhikari, Agrim Lamsal, Amir Chaudhary, Pratiksha Baral, Diparjan Khadka and Shreya Prajapati are being selected as the members of the club.

Chairperson of the club Elisa Parajuli presided over the function while Puran Bahadur Joshi, chairperson of the management committee of Navodaya Shishu Sadan English School was the chief guest.

Prizes were also given to Prince Bartaula of Navodaya Shishu Sadan, Usha Kiran Adhikari of GS Niketan and Pramish Ranabhat of Tulsi Mehar Memorial School. Chairman of Jharna Literary Family Makwanpur Deepak Gautam and writer Purushottam Acharya played the role of constituency in the program. Literary writer Vinita Karki also participated in the program.
