Free Mobile camp in Khairang, Raksirang
Makawanpur: – A total of 327 people have been benefited from health services from a free mobile health camp at Dantar in Ward No. 9 of Raksirang village in Makawanpur district.
The village municipality, which is distributing health camps and disability identity cards and aids in each ward, has organized a free health camp at Dantar in Khairang on Tuesday.
According to Vijay Kapari, head of the village health department, 20 people were given blood pressure check-ups, 10 had pneumonia check-ups, 62 had skin check-ups, 87 had uterine check-ups, eight had implants and 14 had IUCD services.
Similarly, two persons with disabilities were given disability identity cards and one person with disabilities was assisted with a wheelchair.
A team of health workers from Hetauda and Chitwan, including Dr. Dhan Bahadur Khatri of the village municipality, went to the remote village and provided free health care. The municipality had also distributed free medicine to the health check-ups in the camp.
Village Municipality Chairman Raj Kumar Malla said that arrangements have been made to send the patients to other places for treatment.
The camp provided services like uterine examination, sexually transmitted disease treatment, blood pressure, sugar and sputum test. IUCD implants were also distributed under the Family Planning Service.
