According to Lomas Upadhyaya, information officer of the office, the legal actions have been taken against the seven construction companies after they failed to come in contact even after repeated written and verbal reminders.<\/p>\n<p>Action has been taken against Asia Construction, Saurabh Construction, Saraswati Construction Services, Sonu Construction, Nandani Construction, GPV Construction and Damuchandramala Construction. Information Officer Upadhyaya informed that the contract agreement with the company has been canceled and the process of blacklisting has been taken forward. The agreement with the company was terminated last Ashoj.<\/p>\n<p>The office also informed that the construction companies, which had signed various road construction and maintenance contracts 11 years ago, were directed to complete the construction but did not come in contact for a long time. The Public Procurement Monitoring Office in Kathmandu has been recommended to blacklist these construction companies. The Public Procurement Monitoring Office has directed the companies to submit explanations within 30 days.
