Makawanpur.<\/strong> Speaker of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly Sanukumar Shrestha has said that the results have not been achieved as per the target of the state government. Speaking at a program in Hetauda, \u200b\u200bthe capital of Bagmati province on Tuesday, Speaker Shrestha said that the results could not be achieved as per the target of the state government due to lack of skilled manpower, irresponsibility of employees and negligence.<\/p>\n

Speaker Shrestha said that it is unfortunate that the budget allocated for various schemes are not fully implemented as per the target set by the state government and expressed the view that the budget expenditure would be reduced if the working pattern is not changed.<\/p>\n

He said, “Is it good to fall asleep when we have time and finally get back to work at end”<\/p>\n

Speaker Shrestha said that the budget allocated as per the government’s target could not be fully spent due to the trend of not paying attention to the work from the beginning of the fiscal year to the second quarter but starting work at the end of the fiscal year after the onset of rainy season.<\/p>\n

He said that the tendency of spending the budget in a hurry should be removed saying that the third quarter of the fiscal year should be spent on development monitoring and planning.<\/p>\n

The Bagmati state government has spent only 25.35 percent of the budget till mid-Phalgun this year. Ministries and offices under the state government have spent only Rs 13 Arba, 3 Crore 51 Lakhs and 33 thousands \u00a0out of a total budget of Rs Rs 51 Arba, 42 Crore, 74 Lakhs and 97 thousands in the first eight months of the current fiscal year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
