Makawanpur: –<\/strong> Regal Hetauda Resort, Makawanpur-11 has been qualified for the final in the local level Martyrs’ Memorial Gold Cup International Football Tournament in Hetauda defeating Machhindra Club of Kathmandu.<\/p>\n

In the match between Makawanpur-11 and Kathmandu’s Machhindra Club on Wednesday, Makawanpur-11 won by b4-3.<\/p>\n

Amir Shrestha of Jersey No. 7 scored two goals, Ranjan Bista of Jersey No. 9 and Rupesh KC of Jersey No. 13 contributed one goal each for Makwanpur-11.<\/p>\n

Pujan Uparkoti of Jersey No. 11, Ashok Thapa of Jersey No. 15 and Rajesh Pariyar of Jersey No. 10 scored one goal each for Machhindra but it was not enough for the victory.<\/p>\n

Pujan put Makawanpur-11 under pressure in the 10th minute of the match and gave the team the lead by scoring a goal.<\/p>\n

Makawanpur-11 added two goals in a row in the first half after Rupesh KC of Makawanpur-11 scored a goal to return in the competition.<\/p>\n

Ranjan and Amir scored for Makawanpur-11 in the 35th and 47th minutes of the match respectively.<\/p>\n

Makwanpur-11 took a 3-1 lead in the first half of the match but could not strengthen the defense in the second half.<\/p>\n

Ashok and Rajesh scored for Machhindra in the 50th and 64th minutes of the match. In the second half, Machhindra managed to level the match with Makawanpur-11 by scoring two goals in a row.<\/p>\n

Amir of Makawanpur-11 scored another goal in the 69th minute of the match. Amir’s goal proved decisive in the game and was declared as the man of the match.<\/p>\n
